ive been shitfaced a few times in my life and done some pretty odd shit. im sure thats what fueled all the psychoness. at the time period where the young asian kid was killed he should have been shit faced if he was a real alcoholic. maybe he was molested or his parents didn't pay attention to him or maybe he was bullied at school. i wanted to know what was the origin of his hate. I dont feel the need to humanize this monster and nothing new was hinted upon on the whole movie.

a what only works in fantasy movies where you already asked to suspend disbelief and for the duration of the movie and agree to experience this pretend universe where you already have superhero flying around. leaving the viewer to ask a what if? but i hate what ifs in movies especially one where the story is based on actual events and the what if brings actual humans back to life. im not saying its bad and understand you cant glorify a monster like this but you could atleast shed light on certain things and the ending sucked ass also. you almost need the wikipedia article by your side while watching this movie since it reads like the script they likely used to make the film. there is a huge amount of subtle information you could easily miss or set aside as filler the montage of the rapes he committed but it shows many years of progression to where he is at that point. maybe details he divulged to someone along the line and was used in the film. it should him crying for his first victim in the movie. maybe he didn't see blacks and asians as humans and more like animals so it was easier for him to kill and not feel remorse. they had some kind of symmetry action going on i would say his prior dissection of animals would account for that type of interest. and they all kinda looked similar looking at their real photos of the victims. i understand crazy doesnt have a motivation sometimes but its obvious or to me atleast that he was gay and felt different.he must have talked to someone who could have shed light on certain things like why he chose minorities aside from his first victim according to the movie. i was expecting some real insight on what triggered or what his motivation was. its not the fictional window into the mind of a psycho maybe silence of the lambs was not even scratches the surface of anything really.

i wouldn't say i have a fascination with serial killers but i do have an interest in what type of behavior they portray.
i thought it was recent,maybe 2009 but nope it came and went without much attention. 2002's dahmer is one that slipped through the cracks for me. Recently i have been watching a good amount of movies with jeremy renner in them i thought i would check out this one.
